Compliance packaging is a very safe and efficient method of dispensing medicines. The packages promote independent living while assuring that medicine is being taken timely and properly.

Packs may be the answer if you’ve ever found yourself in one of the following scenarios:

• You forget whether you’ve taken your medicine or not
• You find it difficult to  track refills
• You are visually impaired or have dexterity issues
• You are a caregiver who would benefit from easier monitoring of doses
• You travel frequently and would prefer an organized system of taking your medicine

Compliance packs are individually prepared every week, and provision is made for regular weekly delivery if desired.  When a mid-week change occurs, such as a new prescription, your current pack will be retrieved, fixed, and promptly returned.

PacMed Strips

PacMed strips are made up of individual clear cellophane pouches containing single doses of medications.  Each pouch indicates the patient’s name and all drug information for that pouch. The pouches are easily removed and tucked into a purse or pocket to take to a restaurant or a weekend getaway.

Blister Packs

Blister Packs are 7 day cards that can accommodate up to four time periods per day. The packs are booklet style with punch-out foil blisters and are easy to read and manage. An updated medication summary is provided with each pack clearly showing the patient’s current medications.

No matter which method you choose, our pharmacists will monitor all refills and ensure your prescriptions are always current. Any non-prescription items, such as vitamins, can be easily incorporated into your pack.
