Where did you attend pharmacy school?
University of Toronto, 2008
When did you start with Prime Care?
March of 2016!
What’s an area of pharmacy you’re especially passionate about?
As a Certified Diabetes Educator, I’m passionate about diabetes care because I’ve seen how overwhelming it can be, and I want to be someone patients can trust and turn to for support.
What’s a go-to health or wellness tip you like to share with patients?
When thinking about making a change in your health or wellness, you don’t have to start big. One small, consistent step is a great place to begin – and over time, those small steps can lead to meaningful and lasting change.
What do you enjoy about your interactions with patients?
I really enjoy getting to know my patients—not just their health concerns, but their lives. It’s meaningful to know I can help them feel better with a recommendation, ease their stress with advice, or guide them when they’re unsure of what to do next.
If you weren’t a pharmacist, what career would you choose?
If I wasn’t a pharmacist, I would choose to be a travel writer! I love exploring the world and experiencing different cultures and terrain. I could talk all day about where I’ve been and love hearing about where our patients are travelling! Ask me where I’m going next or where my dream destination is right now!
